Cracks occur on the surface of the touchpad without any external force application (see Attachments A and B). This problem mostly occurs at high outside temperatures.

Only the red area is affected (see Attachment C). The problem cannot occur in the green area (see Attachment C).

Due to the complex production process, internal stresses can develop inside the component, which can result in cracks at high outside temperatures in isolated cases.

Immediate measure:

Replacement of the touchpad.

Long-term measure:

Being worked on.
