The retrofitted exit lamp in the front door (left / right) with star logo projection flashes / flickers.

When the problem occurs, it may cause fault code "B175911" in door control unit DMFLxxx and/or DMFRxxx.

The door control unit has current limiting which can result in flickering / flashing.

NOTES:

Replacing the part (door control unit, DMFR/DMFL) will not remedy the issue.

Check whether there is any documentation in VeDoc. If not, add the appropriate code applicable to the model series.

You can also add the corresponding code via Xentry: --> Special functions --> Retrofitting (see the following overview of model series). Then perform SCN coding of the DMFR and DMFL door control units.

As of 03/2020, the work units required for coding are already taken into account in the operation items and can no longer be billed/submitted. The WIS documentation will be corrected as soon as possible. As a temporary measure, you can use the WIS documentation for the 167/247 model series.
