Vibration when adjusting the height of the front seats.

Complaint only arises with longer adjustment travel.

Tolerance deviation of gearwheel in height adjustment gears.

Replace height adjustment motor --> It is not necessary to replace the entire height adjuster.

Remove original height adjustment motor:

1) Adjust seat to foremost and highest position to gain access to the adjustment motor (Picture 1).

2) Disconnect the electrical connector (Picture 2).

3) Remove retaining ring (Picture 3).

4) Undo the 3 screws (Picture 4).

5) Remove height adjustment motor (Picture 5).

Install new height adjustment motor:

6) Replace height adjustment motor and adjust to correct position (Picture 6).

7) Tighten the 3 screws (Picture 7).

8) Attach retaining ring (Picture 8).

9) Connect electrical connector (Picture 9).

10) Adjust seat to desired position (Picture 10).
