Issue:
Door window(s) noisy during operation.
Cause:
When the vehicle is exposed to harsh environment with dust for a long time, dust will adhere to the surface of the weatherstrip and the guide groove. The glass causes dry friction and makes noise during operation.
Action:
1.Clean the internal dust of inner and outer weatherstrip and the guide groove with wet cloth or air gun, and use a thin lever to pull the inner and outer weatherstrip and guide groove in one direction to improve the contact surface between the glass and the weatherstrip and guide groove. The maintenance diagram is as follows.
2.If the noise cannot be eliminated in the previous step, remove the glass guide groove and weatherstrip, clean the inner surface, and apply some lubricating oil to the inside.
