Issue:
Charge warning indicator illuminates and reported DTC P0A94-49 only. No DTC P0D33-11 or other relevant system failure.
Cause:
Electric Power Inverter Converter D (EPICD) software bug.
Action:
Step 1: Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics / Battery Charger Control Module (BCCM) / Clear DTCs P0A94-49.
Step 2: Start the engine and idle, check that if the charging system failure disappear. Measure the charging voltage of the 12V battery is normal (Charging voltage not less than 12.9V).
Step 3: Retest and confirm whether the DTC has been cleared. Complete 5km road test and check whether the DTC of the charging system is repeated. Measure the charging voltage of the 12V battery is normal (Charging voltage not less than 12.9V).
Step 4: If the fault has been repaired and the charging is normal, the vehicle can be delivered; If the DTC P0A94-49 still exists, please raise a Technical Assistance (TA).
